Abstract
Written while Ivor Gurney was a patient at the Middlesex War Hospital, where he was sent following numerous suicide threats. Describe surroundings / is glad that recent verses please Marion Scott / promises more to come / mentions 'Crickley Hill' Edward Thomas / includes the poem 'Migrants', which he says is one of his best things / thinks that he may be allowed to play the piano / thanks Scott for some flower that she sent to Warrington / includes 'Twigworth Vicarage' / 'Interval' /a few more to come / a visit to Gloucester Cathedral / reports on books sent as gifts by friends.
