Abstract
Harry Rawson , my first cousin twice removed. A cutting from a newspaper of his death from cerebra spinal meningitis 7/8/1917 is attached. Born 1888 Rochdale, Lancashire.
1901 Residence 12 Lord Street, Whitworth, Rochdale, Lancashire.
War Service - Private, Lancashire Fusiliers, 20th Battalion. Service No. 25248.
Also the newspaper cutting reporting the death of Harry's father, William Rawson, who died shortly before Harry. How sad for his wife Eliza to lose her husband, then her younger son in the same year. Harry had a brother, Herbert, born 1884, who was also in the war.
